We know that depression is linked to a faulty mechanism for regulating various neurochemicals in our brains, like Serotonin, which regulate our feelings of happiness or satisfaction. “Designer” drugs (SSRIs) such as Zoloft, Prozac, and others help to regulate these chemicals.
